Unknown Problem, Need Advice

So, when I start it up, idle drops low, and I have to gas it to keep it from stalling. Once you rev it for about 30 seconds, it stabalizes and won't stall anymore. However, I have to be gentle on the throttle, if I apply the gas pedal about half way or more, it starts jumping like it's going to stall.

This problem only happens once I'm out of 1st... or when in a gear. I can red line 1st gear, or can mash the pedal when in neutral and this doesn't cause it to jolt like it's dying. WOT in 2nd or any other high gear causes this though. I'm at a loss. I'm having codes run on it and seeing if anything turns up later this week. Anyone have this happen to them before? I've driven a car in limp mode before, the RPMS don't stay under a certain amount, they just bobble a lot and go crazy when I try to accelerate at normal speeds. I basically have to baby this thing in order to get it to not jump around and stall on me.

It's a 91 N/A FC3C Convertible. I'm thinking maybe gunked up injectors, fuel pumps going out, clogged air filter (just replaced it 8k miles ago though - stock). There's no smoke pouring out of exhaust, no smell of gas... so i'm positive my rotors/seals aren't going. I just can't figure this one out, it's so frustrating.

Also: Not sure if this correlates with the problem or not... I had a 3 day non-stop rain storm out here in OH. Haven't noticed a distributer on this thing... could I have gotten water into something? Some form of hydro lock damage maybe? The car was left sitting in the rain for all 3 days, didn't drive it once.

I don't know what's causing your problem other than to say it ain't the rain.
