Um, sweet? I think my car already has toe-control cancellers! (?)
Toe control bushings are pretty small right? And you can see them from under the car, correct?
I took my car to get some proper muffler hangers installed today, and while it was on the lifter, I took the opportunity to inspect my car a bit... I looked around to find out where the toe control bushings were, and too my surprise, what I found in where I expected to be were... hard, black plastic bushings. But I assume those are toe control cancellers... I sure hope so... saves me 40 bucks and like 5 hours of labor. I definately need new bushings all throughout my car... they haven't quite fallen apart, but they're really soft... as are the toe end bushings. Also, I noticed some curb damage under the car, on the frame rails. It was already bent a bit, now it had some grass on it, and there's some exposed metal... crap. I probably need to get that bent back into shape. I think that must have come from driving over a curb a few days ago (leaving a parking lot). (btw, Tokico makes the stock shocks, right?) |

Comparing to this picture, I'm 99% sure that what I saw was eliminator bushings (as they looked machined, and were hard as rocks...). Now I get to add another mod to my list :p |
