two check valves off of rat's nest ?
 

do i need these check valves? i don't have any of the emissions stuff so i doubt it will really affect anything but i thought i would ask first. also, if i feel rambuctous (sp) and decide to yank out the solenoids and hook the two loose vac lines together before my intake gaskets get here would it cause a problem?

Maybe I dont understand your question, but which two vac lines are you talking about? Also if you are reffering to the green and white check valve (not sure what the other one your talking about is) its the possitive crankcase vent and with everything gone you dont need it anymore but the oil has to go somewhere ;) Check out 1300cc.com 's DIY oil catch can for this specific application. As I say, when in doubt do it like scott did! =D

edit: Just noticed you have an n/a and im not sure if that changes anything, so if anything I said doesnt sound right just ignore it ;)

Look at the FSM vac diagram, see what they're for, figure out if you need them.
