Turboing my none turbo

Ok I'm going to turbo my 6 port motor and was wondering if you all could tell me what I need, I don't want to forget anything.

Turbo, definatly need this(about to order)
Intercooler, all piping and shits too(about to order)
BOV(about to order)
Wastgate(about to order)
manifold(about to order)
walboro fuel pump(already got it)
RRFPR(unknown on what brand to get)
Turbo back exhaust(about to order)

What else do i need, i'm i forgeting anything?

eh.. you would need to control boost. wouldn't know how you would do that, but that's a must!:)

you would also need something to control all that fuel your duming in... that's something to consider...

[/asshole]

seriously... that's alot of spending. what kind of turbo will you be going with?

BlueSteel 11-03-04 10:27 PM

first off all, you will find this information way easier by searching verses posting. also check out aaron cakes's website. and look @ the FC FAQ.

i have a feeling a lot of ppl will be angery with u for not searching....

btw, like the guy who just posted said, what turbo did/will u order?

ImprezedRS 11-03-04 11:03 PM

I did a search it reall ydidn't come up with enough info

I have a SAFCII for now but will be going standalone when I fell like uping the boost probally only going to run about 5 pds to start with.

I will get the specs on the turbo

First, if you really did search then you would've found everything. In fact there should be links to more than enough information in the FAQ, plus there was a thread something like 4 or 5 days ago with your same questions and detailed answers once again about all of this.

Second, don't expect the boost to stay at 5 lbs. With the turboback exhaust, higher compression, and I'm sure the cone filter you already have, let alone whatever else you might've done, you'll be boosting past 5 psi most likely.

ImprezedRS im sorry man but dDub is right. there is sooo much info out there on this topic.

ImprezedRS 11-03-04 11:25 PM

i will research again

I'll make it a tad easier.
