Not worth the effort. Better off getting a TII. Search around the section for more detailed explanations.

Not a godd idea
Not worth the trouble it is a lot easier getting a T2. Not to mention it will seriously kill your engine life since the N/A motor is not designed for a Turbo. For the amount of trouble you go threw and the money it would take you could have goten a T2.

It can be and has been done before, Aaron Cake is a great example of it being done. Although like most have said when you start figuring out the cost to swap to a TII setup or turbo your N/A you will MOST LIKELY been better off buying a factory TII. However; building your current car could be a great learning opportunity for you and you will know more than you ever thought possible. Just dont plan to do such things of this is your only car.
In either case you should download the online FSM and start reading it. Aaron Cake's site for reference http://www.aaroncake.net/RX-7/ |

Im In The Process Now Of Boosting Mys4 Na . Yes The High Compression Is Something To Worry Bout Since The S5 Na Came With The Highest Ratio On A 2nd Gen , But Not To Much As Long As The Tuning Is Right . Yes You Will Need Bigger Injectors But You Wont Need To Get A Standalone Inless You Want 2 Go That Route. Im Going With A Rtek 1.7 And Safc Combo 550cc & 720cc. Theres Also A View Ways To Go About The Swap As Far As Maniolds Go. I Learned Alot From Aarons Site Along With A Few Other Threads On Another Forum.

Swapping in a T2 motor, or buying a T2 car would be in your best interests.

Most of this thread is ridiculous. Not to mention all questions are already answered in the FAQ.
