turbo throttle cable s4 vs s5

I've been told there is no difference except for the mounting brackets between the turbo models. Comparing s4 to s5 can anyone confirm this for sure? I'd really like to know because I can pick up an s4 turbo throttle cable for much cheaper than an s5 turbo throttle cable.

Thanks guys and gals out there.

P.S. If anyone can do a side by side picture comparison that would be the business.

I just did an s5 turbo 2 engine install. the s4 cable is slightly shorter ( cable insulation is too long) when it is in the bracket it holds the throttle 1/4 open. it was an easy fix i drilled new holes back a little on the throttle bracket and now it works fine. i used a washer to adjust for the space so i would not have to cut the original mount points and the cable is unnoticeably moved. so up to you. i did it because i have an s4 cable and im poor lol.

i have a jdm engine so i don't believe i will have problems with a bracket problem. we shall see i suppose. thanks for the response!

This has nothing to do with the differences of the cables, but on my S4 TII I ran the cable along the firewall and back toward the throttle body to clean up the engine bay. The cable no longer loops around the engine, and is actually held to the firewall by the stock emissions clips. I do have my emissions removed though. Just thought I'd mention it as you're already working on the area, cleans things up, and is really easy.
