turbo swap - stumped on a few vacuum lines
this is an 88 jspec turbo motor going into an 88 se
1) the metal tube that connects between the turbo and the intercooler has two nipples on it. One nipple goes to the BOV and back to the TID. where does the other one go? 2) what vacuum nipple should i connect the brake booster to, it should be after the throttle plates, right? 3) what nipple should i connect the boost sensor to? the weird thing about this is that the one on my NA connected to the intake manifold, but the one on the turbo looked like it just took outside atmospheric pressure (i.e: no hose, just a little filter thing). This seems counter intuitive to me. |
the boost sensor should still have a vacum line on the bottom,that still goes to your intake manifold

1. I just capped it off.
2. There is a big nipple by itself on the back of the dynamic chamber. 3.THe vacuum line goes to the one nipple on the side of the UIM. |
