Turbo presilencer

Hi,

I just installed a Apex'i N1 dual catback on my 6 port turbo and I'm quite happy with it for the most part except it is a little loud. I fabricated a 1-piece downpipe-midpipe (which now I regret doing) when I added the turbo which was fine with the stock catback but now that I have the N1 it is too loud.

So I want to add a presilencer. Now I know I could just buy a RB one or something but as this is a 6 port turbo, a custom spacer was needed to mount the turbo so no standard turbo DP can be used. So I figure if I'm fabbing a DP I might as well make a mid pipe while I'm at it, not to mention I could probably save some money in the process.

Basically I'm wondering who all sells unflanged presilencers, which ones last long, and how much they cost roughly. I know RB and Vibrant each have one for $100, but I don't know how good those are.

I can vouch for the RB one because I've used it on my miata and such before. then again. what is silencer? lulz.

I guess I'm leaning towards the RB 3" medium size presilencer. Its pretty much the cheapest one I can find and its pretty good quality.

Borla XR-1 is a good choice as well

Ever think of throwing silencers on them?

If you mean those tip silencers you jam in the end of the muffler, I'm running those right now. The ID of those silencer tubes are about 1.5" which kind of defeates the purpose of a 2.5" exhaust.
