That first one is obviously a camaro :) And the second one is an old school vette with 300zx headlights :)

Audiofight 02-06-02 09:21 AM

I thought the first one resembled an ol' school camaro. I get a good look at the front end of them driving down the roads. They are always in the rear view!

The vette I didn't think about until you mentioned it. Good call.

I don't know of any others, but I will keep on searching.

maybe an older celica/Supra?

Audiofight 02-06-02 10:20 AM

I ran across a file that listed this off as a Japanese Savana style RX-7.

I will find it again and post a link to it. Do remember one thing, old transformers weren't perfect replicas either.

RestoTII 02-06-02 10:27 AM

i could've sworn there was one called "camshaft" or something. I think there was another post about it and the name was ironic, cause it was one of those parts that you can't find on an Rx7

Audiofight 02-06-02 10:28 AM

RestoTII

You are correct and win the cookie!

Camshaft:

Kinda ironic, a rotary powered transformer that is named camshaft.

I mis-read the chart I found earlier. Downshift IS an older Supra and Camshaft is the RX-7. Both are members of the Omnibots.

RestoTII 02-06-02 10:34 AM

i knew I'd finally make a post that was correct, and it only took me about 230 to do it :D I thought it was a first gen too, but since it was in 2nd gen area, I figured there might be another i didn't know about

wow, now that DOES look like a rex :D

Audiofight 02-06-02 11:21 AM

This was a fun search. I remember the days with Optimus Prime. Hell, that was when I was ten years old.

Hope this answers your question. If you want to purchase Camshaft, go to Google and search "transformers Camshaft". It brings up a few sites on the first search page that are selling them still.

Brings in a pretty penny too, some as high as $40-50.

BogusFile 02-06-02 11:41 AM

Ive got that 1st gen Transformer. Anyone want to pay a rediculous price for this collectors item?

Max7 02-06-02 01:58 PM

Hmm... i was aware of camshaft... he is a first gen rx7... from the first season errr generation... but this site said it was a blue white/grey one from the 2nd generation ?? who knows...

max7 : Whats the name of that one you posted there?? the one with rx7 on the hood ... that one looks cool ??

fuzzi 02-07-02 02:26 AM

come on someone must know the name of that 7 above... and someone must know if that turbo ii exists ?

Audiofight 02-07-02 08:38 AM

Alright, enough of me hogging the information that you requested.

American
Powermasters Series - Getaway

Japanese
Godmasters Series - Lightfoot

There's the names of the 2nd Gen TII transformer. I will post an animated pic soon, but I don't think it actually became a toy. But, let me keep searching.

Audiofight 02-07-02 08:40 AM

Alright I was wrong. I was a toy in Japan at least:

You can't link directly to it and I don't have server space for the pic itself. Just copy paste it, it works that way.
