Turbo II insurance POLL

How much do you guys get to pay a month for insurance? I'll start:

i'm 21 and have been driving since 18. I pay $55/month.

ilike2eatricers 08-13-03 01:41 AM

No offense but I dont think this poll would provide any useful information since it is not group in age group and does not include individual variables such as location and how much coverage just to name a few.

BlackRx7 08-13-03 02:13 AM

right now I have full coverageand its 120 a month, but before when my 21 year old sis ( i'm 19) was on the same plan It was 250 a month :o

BlackRx7 08-13-03 02:16 AM

cloead 08-13-03 06:43 AM

im ehh 15 now.. but when i turn 16 its $805 a half.. which is like $134 or something a month

82_annrx7 08-13-03 06:50 AM

Damn some of you guys have some cheap insurance. I'm 21 and live in BC Canada and I'm paying 130 Canadian which doesnt even cover collision (trying to save money). So thats like 80 dollars US money.

Josepi 08-13-03 06:54 AM

90ish for full coverage and a 250 deductible. I'm only 1.5 month away from 25... :D

Bukwild 08-13-03 10:18 AM

I am 27 and I pay 120 for auto/personal/home but I would pay about a 100 even for just the car. Its so high because I live right outside DC.

Male/19 yrs old/MD area/87 turbo II/no tickets/only liability = paying just under $100 a month

Finally!!! Someone who understands why these types of polls don't help because there are too many variables!!!!

Guys, you cannot do these types of polls because the costs of insurance coverage vary widely. Some factors, being age, driving history, location, annual mileage, etc.

My mom works in insurance so she tells me about this stuff but some of it is just common sense. This poll can never work just too many variables unless you did a poll with people in the same age group, with clean records and living in the same area but still things like multicar discounts or multiple policies would throw off numbers.

just got it insured today under parents insurance company. it is 387 every six months. then in two months when i turn 21 it will drop to 187 every six months. its liability only. fullcoverage is 900 plus. its an 87 t2

ACTION RT 08-13-03 04:13 PM

I used to pay 280ish/month on my Turbo II.

I just turned 18, no accidents, no tickets.

I recently went under my moms insurance, keeping the car registered under my name still and am paying 72/month.

CAD funds

RylAssassin 08-13-03 04:58 PM

am 21 and pay about $25us a month...
WTF? lol
Do you guys live on a farm? How the hell do you pay so little?? Well good for you guys anyway.
I pay 150 a month for full coverage, ill be damned if i ever let anything take me away from my TII. Yeah collision is expensive but if you dont have it whats the alternative? If you crash on a bad day your f'ed no questions, no exemptions. I have first hand experience with this, so i know. I still miss my GXL to death. :(

ilike2eatricers 08-13-03 05:24 PM

I think he meant while he is living at home he only pays for $25 worth of insurance and his parents cover the rest. Correct me if I'm wrong.

redninja 08-13-03 07:49 PM

17, pay like $200 month

perfect record, no accidents or tickets.

Blowtus 08-13-03 08:54 PM

guys, if you look to the left of my posts, you'd see I'm not from around your parts :D
we mustn't crash quite so much over here or something... and a t2 isn't the sort of car that's owned here as a first car, so probably doesn't cop it so bad from all the kiddies crashing...
