turbo and fuel questions

when i get my TII (very soon) i am going to quickly fit it with the basics (CAI, apexi single exhaust) and a boost guage. I am on this site all the time despite the fact that i rarely post, and know that even the exhaust can raise the boost. is the increase significant that i would want to do other mods (injectors? engine management?) for reliability reasons? Also do you guys have some advice about some extra power without compromising reliability?

Once you start freeing up the intake and exhausts on the TII, you WILL get boost creep. At this point you can do one of two things; You can deal with it directly by porting your wastegate, or you can live with it and mod your car to deal with the addtional boost. The preferred method would be to port the wastegate.

It would be hard to answer your other questions until you actually install these items and see what effect it has on your boost. Ultimately, what you install on your cars should be DIRECTLY dependent on your horsepower goals.

They dont make CAI for FC anyone, but anyways if you get a TID with an intake cone with a full exhaust then you need to upgrade you injectors and some sort of fuel managment+porting you turbo wastegate. But if you just get a Catback and a Intake cone, you boost will prolly raise a little, which within safe boost range.
