tuning with Apexi afc neo

yo, just got my neo installed tonight. i'm going to use it in conjunction with the rtek 1.8 for some timing control and a 720cc base map for the t04b hybrid im building. I havent started playing with fuel correction but just getting it set up i cant seem to find an accurate setting for the tach display. i have it set on "4cyl" mode right now and its close @ idle but almost 200-300rpm off at 3500rpm. so idk if my factory tach is off or if the apexi doesnt have an accurate setting for the FC's tach signal. the car is a s4 (s4 harness and control anyway).

Thanks!

Factory tach is off. This is common.

yep
my factory tach on the dash shows just about 200 rpm off above 2000rpm all the way to redline.

+1 tach speeds up, as rpms go up

can you correct this with the adjustment on the back of the cluster

bump???

Don't mess with your cluster. Leave it alone.

why?
