Trouble setting rear toe - is this normal?

I ran into a bit of a problem aligning my rx-7 last night and I am wondering if this is common based on the tolerances of the stock parts or if I should be looking for something deeper:
I am unable to get past 0 toe on the driver's side only. I can get approximately 2mm of toe out on the passenger side but I can only get 0 toe on the driver's side, no more.

I checked the measurement specified in the FSM from the center of the subframe bolt to the center of the lateral link bolt and they are within 1mm (the FSM states the measurements must be within 5mm) so I am good there. Is this normal and to be expected, or should I be looking for something that is subtly bent?

I was hoping to get all the way out to 3mm of toe out for an aggressive auto-x alignment. So far I am at 0 which is far better than the 4mm of toe in I had when I started.

its within specs, so you don't NEED to do anything, but there are a couple places to look.

1. the toe does change with ride height, so if the ride height is uneven, toe will be also.

2. there might be something that is tweaked. it seems like the diagonal lateral link thing is the first thing to get bent, so you should check that. second thing would probably be a bent adjuster bolt

3. if you have the DTSS bushing, i find setting toe is tricky on the ground, you have to be careful about how you raise/lower and move the car.
