Tri Point Wide Body

I've searched google, yahoo, ebay and about every rx7 store i can find, but to no avail. Can anyone point me in the right direction for the tripoint fender and quarterpanel kit? or at least a knock-off?
thanks guys

They don't make them anymore but there is a knock-off company that makes some poor quality replicas of them.

Or you could check out what I have available, They are wider, look better (imho) and actually cover up the wheel and tire.

in my honest opinion those things are hideous!

doesn't gp sports make some decent wide fenders and quarters?

i like the tripoint, the rxhevens are way too wide, i dont make the power to neccesitate huge 315's out back. plus its kinda pricey. any more links? thanks guys

hideous? thats kinda strong. they make a Rx-7 look like a porsche :D

yea, but i think this guys lookin for a true WIDE kit. GP sports makes more of a fender flare than a true widebody kit

i honestly think an rx7 needs to look like an rx7, and the 8 extra inches on the sides makes it look way... ugly in my opinion

those are the ones i was thinking off

Those are kiddie flares for wannabes and you could achieve that by rolling and flaring the stock sheet metal which looks a whole lot better...in my opinion.

The Tri-Points the original poster is asking about add 3" to each side and don't even fully cover the wheels making rock chips a huge problem.

To each their own.

What does it matter what your opinion is if the intentions are to have wide tires/wheels fit legally, and safely, for street use under the fenders. Function over form means more to some people.

alright thanks guys, i found what i was looking for. raceonusa does make a replica called a 338. Anyways, i didnt want the fender package because they have all those silly vents and slits. I just wanted something that retained basic body lines with a little more aggresive stance.

i gave my opinion and a link to some wider fenders and quarters

i do believe that what is it 30mm? adds to the width of the car and allows for wider wheels and tires correct?

just because it doesn't add enough to run a 12 inch wide tire, doesn't mean that its form over function
