just wanna be sure.....the guy at canadian tire gave me this MotoMaster Synthetic 75w90 for tranny oil.... this should be cool right

Yep, that's fine. One thing to note is that if you have existing leaks in your transmission, they will be much worse. So now is the time to replace that leaking output shaft seal. The smaller and more organized molecules of synthetic will find their way out of small leaks much easier then the randomly shapped molecules of regular oil.

im changind my clutch.. and want to replace the Synthetic 75w90.... which kind should i pick up.... thats non-synthetic

So you want a non-synthetic tranny oil now? I am confused!

75w90 in Redline or Royal Purple will be great for you, if you want a synthetic tranny fluid. Why do you now want non-synthetic?

cuz its leaking outta my output drive shaft seal, right on the caty, causing it to smoke when i push it hard

REPLACE THE SEAL!

well im gonna replace the seal as well.... but if i dont use synthetic it will reduce the likelyhood of leaking even more... which is what i want

If you're going to replace the seal, it should not leak at all (from that spot) as long as you do it right! ;)

hmmm, i guess i could go synthetic again.... is there any benefits to systhetic... and is there any other seal i could replace while i replace the clutch

And lets not forget to make sure the the fill plug is removed before the drain plug. Kind of hard to shove the oil back up into the trans from the drain hole when the fill plug will not come out. Not that I had that kind of problem at one time or anything
