TPS screw??
All the guides on adjusting the TPS say to adjust some screw on the TPS until the right voltage is achieved.
My problem is this. And it may seem very kiddish. But where is this screw exactly? I have look all of the TPS it must not be on the TPS its self. So the question remains where is it? Thank you For whome it may consern: I have a 88 GTU, and it seem like I am running rich. Also some times the idle is jumpy. |
it's on the throttle linkage just ABOVE the TPS, sometimes has a plastic cap on it,...

Spot the throttle arm that pushes the TPS plunger.
It's the nearest adjustment to that arm. It may have a plastic cap covering the screw head. I loosened the lock nut to adjust this one: http://208.62.166.66/guest/pics/RX-7 TB front.JPG |
Oooo...that makes perfect sense now...it controls the doo hickey that atatches is next to the TPS button/sensor thingie-ma-bob.
Thanks, I'll try adjsuting it now. -grant |
