TPS question???

I Checked that green conector that is for TPS i think, and two connectors inside read 1.50volts and the one one the bottom reads 11.5 volts. How can that be? where should i connect ground then????

One should read 12v constantly. The other two will read either around 12v or around 3v. Those two , when they change from 12v to say 3v is indicating whether or not two of the solenoid valves are open or shut. The SOLENOIND VALVES I am talking about are the BLUE AND GRAY ones. The green check connectors two lower wires are spliced into the wires at the BLUE AND GRAY solenoids. When the ECU puts a ground on say the gray solenoid, you have a voltage drop from 12v to about 3. That is reflected at the green connector at one of the lower two pins on it. DO NOT BE A PUTTING A GROUND ON THE GREEN CONNECTOR. Either buy a test lite assy. Build a test lite assy. Use a meter to check the setting of the tps. Or hang it all and save the time and money. Put your digital meter on ground and the other lead shoved in the back of the tps connector with the green wire with the red stripe. Then screw the tps screw until your meter reads one (1) volt. Your through then. If after doing that you return to the green check connector, you will find 12v on the single pin and 12v on one of the lower pins and 3v approx on the other lower pin.
