TPS adjustment successful but...

Ok, well I adjusted my TPS and almost have it set perfectly, volt Meter reads 11.57 almost to "12" it's a real pain in the ass trying to get it set right. I can tell a huge difference in the way the car idles, it's still a little low, but better than before. Anyway, prior to me learning how to adjust the TPS (from this forum, thank you) I was messing with the IDLE AIR MIXTURE SCREW.

So my question is:

Is there a setting this Idle Air screw-thing should be set to and how do you do it?

As always thanks for the help.

What method are you using to get 12v from the TPS?!!

it's easier to use the light blub set0up than an ohm meter i was having that problem too using an ohm meter but i got the bulbs made and it took like 5 sec to get the tps set. as for the idle air adjust screw, i don't think theirs a set position for it but it should be in about the middle or little more that way you can adjust it better put it in the middle and use the blub method for the tps then adjust the idle with the screw to 750 or 800 and your done

The TPS not only adjust idle, but prevents backfire under WOT. That surprised me a bit :)

I'm using the three prong green socket thing next to the Air Filter Box with a volt meter. I built the 12 volt LED light bulb Loom thing but could not get it to light up. I probably need to try it again and be a little more patient. I'll look for the happy medium for the idle air screw thing. Thanks for the help.

you have to go super slow when adjusting the screw for the tps just be patient and try not to push down on it that will mess you up big time
