TPS adjustment screw?
I adjusted an adjustment screw on the throttle body (facing out towards the front of the car), In order to get the TPS to 20% for setting idle on my RTEK.
Is this for TPS adjustment or does it effect the oil injection? I test drove the car and all of a sudden I noticed the car was burning a little more oil. I can smell the oil burning hovering over the turbo manifold... If this is not oil injection related, could I have a bigger problem? |
The screw shrouded within the spring on the throttle linkage is for the TPS. The throttle linkage has a rod connected to it that leads down to the Oil Metering pump and this helps to control the oil injected into the engine. I don't have a turbo so you'll need to rely on someone else for information pertaining to how the turbo receives oil.

Okay... Then It was for the TPS.
It seems like the oil is at lower rpms after returning from a rev up.... with and with out Boost. |

Right...
this still doesn't explain an increase of smoke... if anything there should be less smoke because I took the idle down from 1000rpms to about 850rpms...right? |

Okay that makes sense...
but the car has a BNR stage 3 turbo that has only had up wards of twenty starts and maybe 3miles on it.... Is it likely to be leaking this soon? |
