TPS adjust screw lever... Please Help

1 Attachment(s)
ok so... I over tightened the TPS adjust screw, I don't know how much for sure tho. I measured an extra throttle body and the one on my car and thy are different, the one on the car reads 12.54 mm and the one on the extra throttle body is 13.05 mm. If someone could check theirs with a digi-micrometer and let me know I would much appreciate it. I have a knew TPS waiting to go on but it won't matter if everything else is not proper.

pictures to help identify.

You adjust it until you get 1k ohms (or 1v depending on how you test it). I'm not sure what measurements have to do with it. :squint:

There no length spec, since it adjusts the TPS.
The TPS is a "pot" (potentiometer) that needs to be fine-adjusted so the electronics (stock ECU) reads it correctly.
No two TPS units will spec out the same, thus the adjustment screw you're messing around with.
As the TPS ages and wears, you end up backing out the screw more and more.

Ok Thank you... I just know I had tightened mine too much at one time pinching the 2 forks that the screw goes through. And so I wanted to make sure I wasn't totally screwed with a new tps going on.
