Too much PSI for 5/6 and vdi???

Hey I know 5/6 port actuators and the VDI need just 3-5 pounds of pressure to open. Could anything be damaged if they were given much more pressure, like in the 200-250 range. I ask cause i got everythign i need for my electronic 6 ports to work but realized my pump is pushing like 250psi and i cant find anyhting lower in 12v dc. Thanks for any help.

anything over 25 psi or so will ruin them instantly. what sort of pump are you using that supplies instant 200 psi? or are you using an air compressor that just says 250 psi on it? because that is a max pressure rating, not the instantaneous pressure from the pump itself.

I was using an air ride compressor i think they told me from an escalade. I was looking on ebay for some cheap shit ones but they all say 250psi. i figured i could lower it if i just put some t splitters in the line and let it bleed out but from 250 down to 5 is kinda impossible. IS there any way to read the psi a pump is putting out?

Build a manual ball and spring boost controller and set it to 5 psi, and let the line normally going to the wastegate vent to the atmosphere.
This will make 5 psi and vent any pumped air above 5 psi.

^^^ yup, that would work.
