I wound up mounting the pump behind my seat, and the tank behind it in the storage bin. I routed the line via a drain plug under the car, through the frame rail, and back up into the engine bay.
I got the pump primed and tested it, works very well :)

Bumping this up.

I purchased an HKS TMIC, ceramic coated the end tanks, and welded on heat shielding akin to what you see on a stock TMIC. I've purchased a Cooling Mist kit, but intend on using a stock headlight sprayer reservoir to simplify the installation. The HKS has a threaded entry on the driver’s side of the front end tank that seems a decent point to mount the AI nozzle.

My questions.

1. Anyone that has gone aftermarket TMIC with AI and has done data logging as the OP, how does it compare to the OP's.

2. Searching around, it seems there is debate on where best to mount the nozzle. The OP chose to mount it in the end tank such that the cooling mist flows into the TMIC coils. In alternative, I've found comments that the exit end tank is best. Makes me wonder if HKS located that threaded entry point was for the purpose of an AI nozzle rather than what otherwise seems to be a mounting bracket point. And some have suggested the best place to mount the nozzle is on the compression tube.

So, stirring this up in this very good information thread to suppliment with fresh discussion of where is best injection point and why.

I'm planning this as well but I purchased the AEM water/meth kit. It's my understanding that post IC and pre TB is the ideal place for the nozzle. Maintaining atomization is key here, and running the atomized fluid through the IC allows condensation to take place and the fluid to recoagulate. I know there are different schools of thought here because some people will install it pre-turbo.

This is a good discussion topic.
