Tires............
Ok I search.............With my current suspension setup(in signature), I just bought some 17"s . Im running 225's all around with my 16's but theyre rub alittle bit in the front. Now what size tires in the front am I going have to run being my drop was 1.5". I know thw 225's will definitely rub. I dont wanna put spacers on in the front if I dont have to. Any suggestions on how wide I can go in the front w/o rubbing or spacers, with a 1.5" drop?

What size are the 17's. Width and offset?
|
17x7 40 offset

run 215's on the front and you shuld be alright

thats what is was thinking, so with the drop it shouldnt rub then!! COOL!!

Why not run a thin spacer just to get the clearance?

you can also reposition the strut coil spring for more clearance, i should have done a writeup when doing it but some people with aftermarket struts might have been a little freaked out when i had to make a new spring stop by modifying the strut. ;)
i run 235's in the front and could probably run 245's if i had the correct offset. |

The thinnest spacers I know of are 3mm. That should be more than enough to clear the 225's. -Ted |
