timing problem??

the timing wont stay were i put it and its pissing me off.... :mad: the car wont stay at the correct idle either. i had it at 700rpm and now the thing wont even move away from 1500. also removed smog pump!!! could that be part of the problem :( ?? need help to figure out problem. took off the smog actuactor shit too. cleaned it up and blocked it off. also think its another problem.. :eek:

Sounds like a vac leak, maybe at one of your block-off plates...

have you checked your TPS? What year is it and is it N/A or TII ?
