Timing

Ok this is a noob question so please just bear with me here.

Ive looked around and cant find what would be the timing belt/chain.

Does the car have a chain or a belt?

What is the average ammount of milage that the belt/chain is usually changed at.

This is highly important for me as my RX is running nicely and shes got 79k km and generally we change timing belts @ 80k.

Maybe its not as bad as a piston engine when the timing belt breaks but i doubt its healthy.

Cheers

No, no, and no.
Aren't you glad you don't have to worry about timing belts breaking on these rotary engines? :)

Ted, is that your final answer? You sure you don't want to use a lifeline... :rlaugh:

There is not a timing chain, or timing belt on a RX-7 as rotary engines do not have valve trains such as a piston motor does.
