Has anyone every timed there 7 and for some reason when checking the leading and trailing, they go to the same mark? I lined it up with the yellow for the leading but when i check the trailing its still on the yellow.

A cold engine will give you the symptoms you describe. Fully warm up the engine then try again. If that does not work, make sure the water thermo sensor on the back of the water pump housing is connected to its elect plug. IF that does not solve the problem....punt.

Is there any difference in timing a stock engine compared to one with all emissions removed?
