TII stumbling??? Injector question

1988 TII

Fuel filter, pump, fuel system service 3k ago.

Just recently the car has started stumbling a bit when cruising and applying the gas pedal slightly. I took it in to shop this week and they had noticed that one of the plugs was fouled(lower front plug). I had just replaced them all about 1000 miles ago. They said they drove it and it was fine. The second I pulled away I knew it wasn't and it started doing it again on the way home.

Any ideas?
Anyone hear of this problem before?

Are injectors from 89-91 interchangeable with 87-88?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.......

When my 87 TII was stumbling it was because of a bad TPS.

The injectors from the 87-88 have a different ohm rating than the 89-91, I think.

A clogged fuel filter would cause some stumbling too.

Thanks for the info. I will check out the TPS.

Is there anyone you know that could lend you a working TPS to test your car with? When mine was going bad, my mechanic could adjust it and the car would run fine, but after driving a few miles it'd go right back to running like crap.

I don't know anyone that could lend me their TPS.

I did set it 1k ohm at idle and gets 4.75 at WOT with no dead or spike spots.

Why would just the lower plug on one rotor foul out?

Is the wire to that plug okay? If it wasn't firing all the time or getting enough spark, wouldn't it foul out? I would lend you my TPS if I were home (Syracuse) but I am in Iowa for school. I have a mechanic in Syracuse who works on 7s if you're interested.
