k so lately i've noticed that my 91 t2 has been stalling everytime i start it up. like it'll start up... rev too 1500 for 1-2 sec then come down and die. then i start it again and it idles fine but theres a crap load of blue smoke coming out the exhaust, so i'm thinking maybe a seal is going or something? and also the motor doesn't seem as strong as it used too be...any ideas? or am i just being a woman about it all haha

 

yea definantly something is wrong - check your compression

 

You're right. Sounds like it might be time for a rebuild.

 

When is the last time the car had a tuneup? Is the TPS adjusted properly?

This problem can often be caused by marginal injectors.
