no

I am going to guess on the differences. Different emmisons hook ups, vacuum ports, TPS mounting.

Are the intake runner sizes the same? And TB size the same?

no the runners are of different sized, and I am not sure about the TB, but the intakes are of different desings slightly!

The S5 has longer, larger diameter runners. There are good comparison pics here. The TB is the same size, but the linkages are different due to the extra TPS and lack of mechanical OMP.

Excellent! Just what I was looking for. I have been wanting to buy a TB on Ebay so I could port and polish it since I can't play with my car. Thanks NZ!!

It's not really worth that much more money. The differences are mininal, and I doubt you'd see significant gains on the dyno - I've never seen dyno runs to prove the gains everyone is talking about. Now, don't get me wrong - I'm sure there's a gain (maybe 1-3 hp), but it's not worth that much for me to go searching and paying for a Kouki TB over my Zenki unit. All I need to do is just turn the boost up. :)

Those runners look quite a bit bigger, so I'd guess it's more than 1-3hp (depending on mods), but you're right, it probably isn't worth doing unless you find the parts cheap.

And remember, the idea is to make the most power from the least boost... ;)

wouldn't the longer runners give a better powerband though? Maybe more torque?
