TII Hood Scoop Placement

I have been interested in a tII hood for a while but havent been able to find any in my area. The ones I can find on ebay and such cost too much to ship so I am planning on buying a fiberglass scoop from cp racing and having it fab'd on myself. The thing is I want it to look s close to stock as possible but i have no way of knowing exactly where too place it as there are not many fcs in my area. Does anyone know where i can find the exact meassurements for placement ( eg 3 inches form top, 10 inches form bottom , 3ft from left, 2 ft from right)? Thanks to anyone who might know. I am planning on hooking my ram air settup to it.

i dont know the messurements just now cuz my hood is in another garage but good luck with that. i hope it turns out alright cuz one slip up and its either going to look like shit or your going to have to spend that extra money in a hurry. but i dont see why a hood would cost more than 150 metal and 300 cf or maybe thats just california price. i picked my metal one up for 50 bucks. but again good luck and if no one anwsers you ill get the messurements for ya when i get mine back. post pics when your done too.

That pricing is about right but tis the shippign to nyc that kills. I can get hood on ebay for 100-200 but its 150+ shipping. I can't find any in the area cause there is very little rotary interest around here. I would really appreciate those meassurements if you ever get around to it. you can email them to me at bklynrx7@aol.com
