TII diff side seal replacement help.

so after i did my N/A to TII swap i noticed that the side seal to the diff was leaking. (flung gear lube all over the place). when it was shipped to me the driver side output shaft was loose. we had to push it in. it clicked. now that side leaks. the diff also makes a little noise. i didn't have the LSD adder to put in there. however does anyone have any helpfull hints for these before i go home in two weeks, or tell my friends at home.

Probably damaged the seal sliding it in. Diff might be low on fluid.

well when i 1st put it in the diff was loud as hell. drove it a 1/8 mile under 30mph before it hit me it had no fluid turned around and filled it up with gear lube. it is a s4 rear end i heard that it is a clutch type. but do i need to take the rearend out to fix this. it is not fun to remove it

Ouch. Top it off, replace the seal, and see if it fixes your problem. If it's still loud, you might have fried something. You don't need to pull it unless you're replacing it.
