TII Diff Question

Ok, so here's the predicament:

I recently purchased an S5 GXL with a TII diff swap... and I want to throw in a 2-way. I talked to the seller, and he did not know what year the swap came from or what type it was. My question is if I were to buy say, a Kaaz, could I just throw it based on it just being a TII? Or would I need an S4 or S5 TII specific Kaaz? If I do, is there any way to tell what generation (Viscous or clutch) TII diff I have without completely disassembling the housing?

The ring gears are the same, so if you buy a Kaaz (assuming that it's just a TII carrier swap) it'll swap into either an S4 or an S5 just the same.

I personally don't know how to tell between S4 TII and S5 TII in any way EXCEPT the S4 ones have a little tag with writing about the LSD that is actually attached to the upper fill plug.

Thanks for the info man. Seems I have an S4 due to the tag.

I forgot to add, it's just in my personal experience that I've seen those tags only on S4s, and thats on more RX-7s then I could ever hope to count, but I don't know if thats the real way to judge it :P
