tII bogs when turning hard
ok, if i drive my tII hard and turn left, the car bogs down and stops moving all together but doesnt stall or anything. it's only on left turns though, because i tried pushing it hard going right and it was fine. im pretty sure it's a fuel problem, but i was wondering what might cause that to happen.
i remembering seeing a thread similar to this a little while ago and tried searching, but apparentally searching isn't my specialty. sorry boys. |
Is this with a specific amount in the tank, or all the time?

Try changing the fuel strainer/sock that it on the end of the pump.

It baffles me.. Sorry I had to say it.
I'd check the pump since it's only on left turns. |

awesome, my fd fuel pump just came in today so i'll put it in and see what it does.
thanks guys |
I'm replacing the fuel sock on my 90. May as well replace my 32 year old fuel pump while I'm down there.
I noticed this bogging problem after I started using Idemetsu Premix. Does using Premix negatively affect the fuel sock? |

Replaced the fuel strainer ( sock ) today. It seemed to have solved the problem. I used Denso part number 952-0043; very sure this is the same as OEM. Fortunate the fasteners holding down the fuel pump was not corroded. The strainer didn't look too bad, but it did have a small hole.
