tial bov
does anyone have a tial bov that is running more than 18 pounds of boost?
the only spec sheet i have every seen quoted that the tial bov can only withstand 7-15 pounds of boost. is this true and if so are there different models of the bov? i am going to be running about 22psi on the track and about 4psi on the road so if i could encompass these boost settings with the tial that would be awesome otherwise i will have to look at other options. thanx in advance. |
I've never run more than 18 psi (on purpose), but my BOV has always cracked when it was supposed to. I have the rotary spring.

I have a tial and tuned it out for 16psi, On a later tune up though it was running 20 just fine.

sweet, so it opened and closed at the correct times then? and no probs? does it matter how little of boost is run?

Yeah spring is 11psi, thats as low as I can go (profec-b turned off).
