Throttle sticking.

Well i have just installed my haltec. So i go to start my car and it revs up extremely high. Turns out it's the butterflys sticking?? what could i do to fix:wallbash: this???

Are you sure it's the TB sticking or is it the accelerator cable?

Make sure the TB is thoroughly clean inside and out. Don't lubricate it though, that'll just attract dirt and cause more problems later.

Yea that was the first thing i checked was the cable. Bdc deleted my butterflies and he said sumthing about forgetting to remove a lil plug or sumthin. Do you know what he maybe talking about???

Not a plug -- the fast idle cam.

I dont know if this will work. If it is the secondary butterflies. I would just remove them. Other than that I wouldn't have a clue. Those other guys took my ideas.

Yea the fast idle cam.....Nevermind i will take it to brian directly.

IMO you should've removed the double throttle system and left the thermowax/fast idle alone, but that's just me...

Removing the fast idle cam is easy, just follow these instructions.
