Threads about assembling a long block?
 

I bought a rebuilt ported short block with 30k miles on it to drop in my s5.
I'm waiting for my car to be hauled to me but in the mean time I'm trying to prepare the best I can.
I've removed/replaced many parts but I'm a little bit worried that will be overwhelming whenever I go to put the parts on the short block.

I've searched the forum but I haven't been able to find any threads concerning assembling a long block.
I'm probably using the wrong terms, but I'll keep searching meanwhile.
If you happen to know of any websites or threads that will help me in anyway please let me know.

I've checked a few of the project threads and they were helpful.
I'm actually planning on making a project thread here soon.

I've got the FSM downloaded on my comp and I bought the Haynes manual.
The pictures aren't the best.
I figure sooner or later I'll find a thread with pictures of what they are removing.
