thinking about a rebuild
 
ive done search on this but never really found out what i wanted to. well my car has hit 110,000 and not sure what i should do with it. i havnt got a compression test yet. but ive looked around on web sites and found rebuild kits for alot of diffrent prices and not sure which one to go with and sense im doing a rebuild i decided why not just get it street ported. any thing i should know about street port??. thanks

and with street port do i have to upgrade any other things??

There is no reason to rebuild the engine unless it needs it.

If you have to ask if you need other mods with a street port, I don't think it is a good idea for you to rebuild your engine. :)

i would rebuild it if i was getting near 130k miles, just to be careful it would be alot easier to rebuild and freshen up a motor that hasnt lost and apex seal you know ;) anyways if it was me and i was boosting more than stock then around 130k miles i would rebuild it just to be safe so instead of spending like 2700 on a rebuild you only spend 1200

if your looking for a place to buy a rebuild kit from check out www.rotaryaviation.com. i ordered the rebuild and install kit for uner 1k. there are some pieces that are upgraded form stock. o-rings, side seals/springs and 2 piece 2mm seals

The rebuild wont be that hard and well woth it but if you have never rebuilt a rotary check out the howto video at atkinsrotary.com you can also get kits there.
