Are these really worth it?

That's right people. E-bay clutches...
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...RK%3AMEWA%3AIT

The previous owner of my car replaced the clutch after someone took the car from a party he was at, and burned the clutch down to nothing. They didn't even know how to drive it?? Anywho, a stock clutch and lightened flywheel were installed. He did not replace any bearings. Now the stocker slips when I open it up all the way, but otherwise it feels like it's still pretty new and grippy. I hear intermittent squeaking at idle, varying w/rpm. I think it's the throw out bearing, damn him for not replacing the bearings while he was in there! So basically, is this e-bay clutch worth it? It just seems to be to cheap... I am just looking to replace the bearings, and stop the slippage issue. Anyone? Anoyone? Bueller? ...later:)

thats a really shitty looking pressure plate. i would say that it is a painted Exedy OEM pressure plate with some knock off bullshit clutch disc. i wouldnt waste my money if i were you. go with a Exedy stage one orgainc if your looking for a good improvment but would like to keep the smooth stock feel, the kits are only 277 plus shipping

I don't care for the stock smoothness. I think I would prefer a stronger bite in the clutch. And I guess the pressure plate does look like the stock one, says it's thicker, but who knows? I thought it was too cheap to do me any good. Thanks...later:)

Actually, SonikRat and a few other peeps have had good words to speak of these clutches.

It shouldn't be all to bad (if they aren't lying?). If anything its $150 bucks and a days worth of work. Nothing that can't be fixed later.

*Waits for SonikRat to chime in*

thats pretty cheap even if it isnt a really good brand one... it HAS to work better then the shity stock clutch.... even if that is probably a stock pressure plate painted....
