Is there diff. between N/A differential and T2?

i was just wondering if there is difference between T2 differential and driveshaft and n/a ?
I don't know if that driveshaft is what i think it is i'm talking about that thing that connects transmission and differential. Please reply

Pinion flange is different on the TII diff. Also the TII driveshaft is shorter, has a different spline for the trans.

All T2 diffs are LSD. Only some models of NA's had LSD's(GTUs, 86-88 GXL, 86-88 GTU).

TII diff is stronger.
