Tell me EVERYTHING about the FC

Hi.

I'm new to this board, my name is tom or "toms". (don't ask me why, long story :) )

I live in AUS and here FC's cost about 7000 stock on road, to about 20000 fully modded. I have owned a Gen 1 S3 RX7 and loved it so now its time to step up to a FC. I'm getting a loan of $10,000 which should be enough for a good stocker. NOW, I want 200rwkw's. What can i do to achieve this? A few people with the FC's have told me to get a new 3" exhaust, FMIC, Boost controller and a proper dyno tune should see me getting nearly or more (depending on the 13b, and boost) to 200rwkws. Do u all think this is true? I don't want to discuss prices seeing that I'm in AUS and our curency is different and parts prices would be all different too. I should be having one in about 2 months, or my other option would be to buy a GEN 1 and have a S4 turbo engine dropped in or find one with it already done.

Also, are there any "things" I should know about the FC? Are there any common problems I should know about that could cost me alot of $$$ later down the track?

Anyhow, thanks for your replys and help!

later

I don't mean to be a dick but try looking at the top of the page and reading the archives. You will be reading for a couple of days at least.

we can't really tell you everything about the FC. You have to read about it. Go search sites like RX7.com and it has some infomation on the FC. That's where I started out and learned about problems about the FC. Also, I believe ReTED has a site. I'm not sure of the url but it has a lot of information.

Use the search, if you really want to learn about it why do it at someone elses expense?
