Taking gasket-making to a new level

I have an exhaust leak from the backplate on my turbo. I know it's a machined mating surface, but it's not flat. I don't feel like taking it off again, so I decided to make a METAL gasket for it. This one's steel. So far, so good. I think the next one may have a lead inlay for added bonus sealing :)
