If it was running fine before and now it won't start its flooded. If you have been trying to crank it without doing the procedure, you probably have fouled plugs and need to be cleaned off, on top of deflooding the engine. Change your oil when you get it started.

how long ago was this? Please give more detail about the condition of the engine, last time it was ran, last known condition of it from your friend, ect.....
I will repost the information from your OTHER SAME POST :icon_no2:: i have a 88 t2 and it wont start it cranks and cranks but it wont fire it has new plug wires and coils, the engine mods are a mild street port with no emmisions full 3 inch rb exhaust and a safcII and ive did the unflodding process and i not new to the rotarys i kno about them i just cant seem to get it running if anyone has any info please help Make sure to keep your foot all the way down on the pedal when clearing the flood, and don't push the pedal at all when trying to crank with the fuse IN. |

I will repost the information from your OTHER SAME POST :icon_no2:: well it sat for about 4 monts in the garage and he dident touch it it has a miled street port and everthing is blocked off for the emmisions has semi new coils and new plugs and wires it ran before but it ran lean thats y i put the safcII in to richen it up it needs a timing to but it would still fire if the timing is off or attempt to the engine has 0 miles on it just about 20mins of run time |
Have you tried removing the egi fuse, one of the spark plugs on each rotor and cranking for 15 seconds, add teaspoon of motor oil, clean plugs, replace plugs and fuse? Make sure to have your foot all the way down on the gas pedal when deflooding without the fuse, and don't touch it at all when restarting the engine.
You probably need to build up a bit of compression using the motor oil..... Once it starts by the way, fully warm it up and if you are going to shut it down hold the gas pedal to rev it a bit then immediately turn the key to off while still holding the pedal down to clear the pressure off the fuel lines. This will prevent flooding..... |

Hmmm..... is your air flow meter connected? If this is not connected/detecting airflow I believe the injectors will not fire. You said you hooked up an SAFC so this might be your problem....
Also if the timing is significantly off it won't fire. You need to set the timing correctly by taking off the CAS cover, search it here..... |

The timing post is here:
https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...t=stabbing+cas But like I said before, you need to build a bit of compression so try using the motor oil method I explained earlies. It might take a few tries and like RXJIM said there are times when you will have to play with the gas pedal after replacing the EGI fuse with the motor oil method if it was flooded enough. Make sure to hold your gas pedal all the way down when you remove the EGI fuse, I have even had to crank the engine with no spark plugs to get the fuel out of the chamber, it was that bad.... I doubt for 4 months it would foul the fuel in the tank by the way.... |

Clean the connections coming from the CAS (Crank Angle Sensor) with some electronics cleaner spray (open them up first). On connection is on those wires coming out of the CAS about four inches out and the other is under the brake master cylinder.
