t2 halfshafts

I was wondering since I might get some 555r drag radials soon how strong the halfshafts on my 87t2 are? Can the fc take hard launches? Will I get crazy wheel hop and break something  just a general question :)

It can handle drag radials no problem...

well I assumed it could its just the wheel hop is a little unnerving to me and I run my car fairly hard so I just wanted to be extra sure it wasn't a weak point on the car I didn't know about :)

yeah, wheel hop if a big no-no.&nbsp Tired rear shocks will do that...
Also, too much RPM's on the launch will do that.
If you can't get rid of the wheel hop, you might want to drop the rear tire pressures a little (2psi at a time) and mess around with that...

while we are on the topic I need to know has anyone ever borke the shafts before and has anyone ever tried the 30mm crome mollys. I am droping in a 3 rotor with a gt 42/45 turbo and a gforce tranny and need to know what the axles or rearend will take. I don't want to go solid axels unlees I have no other choice.

Chrome moly axles, Cusco LSD - these are recommended.
