Synthetic Gear oil?

I am putting in new syn gear oil for my trans and was wondering if there is a type not to use. I thought I remember someone saying not a use a certin type becuase I is harmful to the bearings or something in our trans. That doesnt really make sense but I guess better safe than sorry. Maybe I am way off in this question, so let me know.

Thanks

There are only three types to use. As always foloow the manufacture's recomendations for viscosity.
Mobile 1 best for the buck and similar in performance to the ones listed below
Redline a little better protection and friction control but nearly twice as expensive
Amsoil nearly double the protection and friction control as Mobile 1 but it is hard to find and about $9 a quart last i checked.
I use the Mobile 1 with great results. found nearly everywhere, and they offer the recommended weight.

I use Redline MT90.

Mazda recommends 75W90 oil - use at least that particular viscosity.

If you can find it, look at the Synergyn lube. It really isn't that expensive and is distributed by Dyson. As I remember, his cars seem to do pretty well.
