Symptoms and Possible Reasons. HowTo on GlobalVicinity.com
Hi all.
I made a how to called Symptoms and Possible Reasons on the GV site. It will hopfully be used for troubleshooting engine problems. Problems will be categorized and the possible reasons will be listed underneith the correct category. the HowTo is here http://howto.globalvicinity.com/gv_w...=193&co=1&vi=1 Please add more categories and possible reasons. ONLY add possible reasons to the symptoms you had personal experience on and add them in the CORRECT category. I hope this will be a good thing for the rotary community. So please help out the rotary community by adding more Symptoms and Possible Reasons to the HowTo.:) |

I am also doing a complete writeup on the Global Vicinity site concerning rough idles, rolling idles, high idles, stalling, etc. Once I have completed editing, I have to submit them for approval.

Script 7. I messaged you on GV cause I noticed you had that writeup going. Im thinking we could combine both into one. Either that or make yours more descriptive. Once your done, submit it and either me or steve will look it over.

I updated the read a little more just now.
I hope other members of the community will share some of their time and give a little effort to add more information to that HowTo. Contributions will be noticed since your user name will be listed in the Contributions list by click on the link at the top of the page. |

no step-by-step instructions, no tried-and-true methods or interesting approaches to diagnostics as well as several "gaps" of information, and some of it just plain incorrect. Also, this is what a Wiki is for. You can change it to better word something or add more/better information. Also some HowTos already have information on troublehshooting and adjusting and check things so why should I add that information again? They can easily browse the Community Service Manual which I directly linked to in the HowTo. |
I think I will decline. All the pages on the GV site work together as a whole. A link to your Howto would be placed on the page im still working on. So keep up the good work because it your HowTo does look really good and can't wait to see it finished. |
