Symptoms of fouled spark plugs?

I believe my plugs are shot, curious what the symptoms of them being fouled would be?

Thanks, David

Sometimes it starts sounds like running one rotor sometime won’t even start take them out and take a look at them.

I took them out and cleaned the black off of them, put them back in and the car was idling smooth for about 30 seconds then it started to miss every couple seconds before it started missing constantly, when I hit the gas the engine bogs down and backfires as the RPMS climb. sounds like a machine gun lol

Sounds like they are mine was doing the same I went and bought some new ones and put some oil thru the spark plug wholes and started right up and stopped the back fire

Is putting oil in the spark plug holes necessary? I’m gonna grab some new ones!

Rotary engines are not nice to spark plugs. My car just the other day started like it was on single rotor. My guess was my front rotor came to a stop after the previous drive just resting near a plug, some residual premix had dripped on the electrode and it started but ran like crap for about 10 seconds. I actually had a mini heart attack. My plugs only have 1000 miles on them.

That's what mine sounds like, I have new plugs coming Monday. Hopefully they were the culprit
