symptoms of damaged e-shaft
I tried using a steering wheel puller to pull my flywheel and I'm afraid that I might have damaged the end of the e-shaft, I've heard that there is a aluminum plug or something made of aluminum that could possibly be damaged, How do I know if this is damaged? What could happed if it is damaged?

bah! No aluminum thingies in that end of the e-shaft :)
All that's in there is a pilot bearing and a grease seal. Get in there with a hammer, a screwdriver, and a pair of pliers and get those sunz a bitches outta there :D (It's really not as bad as it sounds... I flipped when someone told me to do it with pliers, but I did it finally and it didn't damage anything whatsoever!) Knock yourself out :bigthumb: Manolis |
