Sway bar mounting...in da rear!

Errr...so I have a S5 and I managed to mess up both of my rear sway bar mounts. Bad day at the shop...really bad day....

So are the s4 sway bar mounts interchangable?

I have a tII s5

Wow, this is old...

Why even run rear sway bars? The cars handle so much better without them.

ummmm... i disagree... without rear sway bars... my cars ass was all over the place....

yes it should fit, i have a S5 n/a and one of my sway bar mounts fell off, i went to the junkyard and got some off a S4, so yeah.

hahah yeah, not something I keep tabs on. :)
I swear one of the aftermarket bars had different designs for Zenki versus Kouki, but I could be wrong on that. :P

I don't think that the world is coming to an end, but I think that I saw some snowflakes in hell... Oh, nevermind, that was just out the window...

Also, I am not sure about this, I would say just check it out and try it.

oh, and if you don't mind, how did you manage to mangle both upper rear sway bar mounts?

The parts are identical, even the same part numbers, if you get one from an S4 with hard suspension... this includes the rubber mount, the steel bracket, and the mounting plate that attaches to the body.

Ah, Ha!

Mazdatrix lists two different rear sway bars from Suspenion Techniques.

Any idea why that is? I've installed both versions, but without side-by-side, I can only remember the "humps" being shallower on the S5's.
