OK i got a sickingly good deal on a full 3rd gen motor and i was looking for infor on how hard it would be to swap it into my 87 na auto rx7, any links/personal expirence would be greatfull

This was a question I have posed plenty of times myself. #1. The motor mounts for the 3rd gen motor are in the back where the 2nd gen is in the middle of the block. #2. The word is that the twin turbo setup will not fit #3. You will need an after market fuel/computer ie a Haltech, Wolf 3D. I believe the motor mounts can be purchased from K2RD but I am unsure if they are made for a Cosmo 13B only. I don't think it would be to hard to swap to a single turbo setup.

I honestly feel that you would be better off buying the engine if you are getting a really good deal and selling it for a big profit. Then buy a 2nd gen Turbo. There are alot of differences between a NA and a Turbo 2. You can probably find a really nice Turbo II for $3-4K.
