i am considering either the Tokico HP (leaning towards them cause of the price), or the KYB AGX's. For springs, either the Eibach pro kit, or the RB springs. it will be daily driven so i dont want it to be super hard, but i dont mind a little stiffness. any opinions or suggestions?

RB all the way, researched spring rates; the Eibach may even be progressive, that's a trade-off. KYB makes decent stuff considering it's reasonably inexpensive.

I would suggest looking into a set of coilovers too just for a price comparison.

If you're buying a complete setup of shocks and springs anyway, you're quickly approaching the price of a decent set of coilovers (like Teins).

Coilovers may be overkill for you, but . . . I came to the conclusion that if I'm going to be spending the cash anyway, I might as well buy something I know I'll never out-drive. :)

ok, so ive looked into a little bit more. i dont have money for a real good setup, and it looks like the cheaper struts are pretty crappy and not worth looking at. although i would like to try auto x someday, should i just say eff it and get the OEM gear?

are you in need of replacements right now? Considering you're not auto-x'ing right now, there's no way you'll out-drive the stock stuff anytime soon...

I'd save your money. Question is, do you really need to replace anything right now -- that's probably the question you should be asking.
